SebbyNet - WAN - About

SebbyNet is a privately owned wireless hotspot located in the suburb of Seaton in Adelaide, Australia.

The primary function of SebbyNet is to link three nearby nodes together to form a WAN without the use of VPN links over slower and more expensive ADSL links. The secondary function of SebbyNet is to provide backbone links between other wireless hotspots located in Adelaide and to allow any interested users nearby to gain access to the Adelaide wireless mesh through SebbyNet free of charge.

The use of wireless links provides the ability to share resources, such as files and broadband internet access and to play multiplayer games with ultra low latency without having to lug computers to friend's houses. Video conferencing to other users. Plus more... all free of charge.
